By placing myself in an abstracted, moving point, I traced my path in Morse code, creating imaginary maps on recycled paper.
Within the marks of the journey itself grows an awareness of the transformations that have led to the present: once the interpretive key is discovered, the becoming of each stitched point acquires real meaning for me, allowing not only the reading of past signs but also the interpretation of those yet to come.
The creation of my works often involves chance: in these early pieces, for example, each canvas is made individually and only later connected vertically to the others.
This process highlights how a series of elements—apparently self-contained—reveal themselves, once joined, as parts of a single larger “design.”
